The Lord of Hosts has Gone Ahead and is Making a Way

Just like Zerubbabel (governor of Judaea under whom the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple at Jerusalem took place) rekindled hope for the Jews with the help of the Lord of hosts and His prophets, so are God’s remnant called to rekindle hope to the Kingdom of God and the nations.

“This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.” - Zachariah 4:6 NKJV

In the word of the Lord spoken through Haggai in Chapter 2, verses 4-5 we read, “Yet now be STRONG, Zerubbabel, says the Lord; and be STRONG, Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest; and be STRONG, all you people of the land, says the Lord, and WORK; for I AM with you, says the LORD OF HOSTS. According to the word that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, so My Spirit remains among you; DO NOT FEAR!”

Holy Spirit is strengthening His REMNANT, those who are all-in, laid down lovers of Christ (1 John 3:16). He releasing divine strategy and insight to break cultural and religious strongholds and demonic agendas to take greater ground for His Kingdom. He is supernaturally opening doors and creating opportunities and divine connections for His remnant to infiltrate and reform the seven mountains of influence. We are in a SET TIME to increase and advance and with so much hanging in the balance, the time is NOW to strike the ground like Elisha. Not just three times but as many times as possible to utterly destroy the evil forces opposing the plans of God and His Kingdom.

“You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come.” - Psalm 102:13 NKJV

There has been a SHIFT and the areas where we have been experiencing the greatest resistance and discouragement, are the places the Lord is breaking us through to OCCUPY THE LAND. Many have been wrestling with the old ways of doing things and trying to let go. I can see in the spirit these old ways like roots attempting to choke out the NEW GROWTH that is trying to BLOOM. I then heard these words of instruction in my spirit, “LIGHTEN UP, LET GO AND LET HOLY SPIRIT HAVE HIS WAY”.

This new growth that has come to His LABORERS will establish them with a greater depth and foundation of the FEAR OF THE LORD to grow, flourish, and expand their reach. I heard this powerful word in my spirit, “JEHOVAH SABAOTH HAS GONE AHEAD AND MADE A WAY”.

Jehovah Sabaoth (that which goes forth; armies; hosts) is the Lord of hosts which is a name that emphasizes the POWER and MIGHT of our Lord. The first use in the Bible is in 1 Samuel Chapter 1 in the story of Hannah who yearned for a son and earnestly prayed that the Lord would grant her the desire of her heart. The mighty Lord of hosts heard Hannah’s prayer and she gave birth to a son and named him Samuel. She kept her promise and gave Samuel to God’s service and he grew up to be a great spiritual leader in Israel. The prophet Samuel is a type of God's holy remnant and was chosen amid the worst of times and hid him away in training until it was time to bring forth His new thing.

In 1 Samuel 1:11 NKJV, Hannah made a vow and said, “O Lord of hosts, if You will indeed look on the affliction of Your maidservant and remember me, and not forget Your maidservant, but will give Your maidservant a male child, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life, and no razor shall come upon his head.”

There are so many other powerful accounts in the Bible where the LORD OF HOSTS is referenced to help us understand the emphasis of the POWER contained in this name. We already learned as referenced above what the Lord did for Hannah. In 1 Samuel 17:45 under the title DAVID AND GOLIATH it says, Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword and with a spear and with a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.”

In Chapter 3 of Malachi under the title A BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE in verses 16-18 we read, Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, And the Lord listened and heard them; So a book of remembrance was written before Him For those who fear the Lord And who meditate on His name. “They shall be Mine,” says the Lord of hosts, “On the day that I make them My jewels. And I will spare them As a man spares his own son who serves him.” Then you shall again discern Between the righteous and the wicked, Between one who serves God And one who does not serve Him.

In Psalm 24:10 under the title THE KING OF GLORY AND HIS KINGDOM it says, “Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory (Selah). In Isaiah 44:6 under the title THERE IS NO OTHER GOD it says, “Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel, And his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: ‘I am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me there is no God.”

Gloriously, His Word brings it all together as The Lord of hosts is our Redeemer who is Jesus Christ. We find in Revelations, Chapter 19 in verses 11-16, under the title CHRIST ON A WHITE HORSE it says, ”Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

As I was writing this word, the Lord brought to my remembrance a vision I had exactly one year ago. I was in corporate worship with my church family and I saw KING JESUS riding on a white horse coming straight toward me. He had a robe and a crown with his sword lifted in one hand and reaching out to me with the other. I reached back and He grabbed my hand and pulled me up onto the horse with him and we rode off. This vision had me left in shock and awe. The fear of the Lord was so strong that nothing else mattered except saying YES to His invitation to ride with Him.

As I pressed in and prayed into this and how it relates to this word and His remnant, I heard these words, “I AM THE ONE WHO IS CALLED FAITHFUL AND TRUE. I AM EXTENDING MY HAND INVITING MY WARRIOR BRIDE TO JOIN MY END TIME ARMY. I HAVE GONE BEFORE YOU AND AM LEADING THE WAY. YOU ARE MY VICTORIOUS BRIDE. COME ALONG, GET READY FOR A WILD RIDE.”

And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. - Revelations 19:19-20 NKJV
