The Bridal Chamber is Ready
A word from the Lord for 2022
In early December during corporate worship at a fellowship luncheon where many ministry leaders from the region were gathered together for a beautiful time in HIS presence, I received a vision from the Lord.
I saw a woman praying with a prayer covering over her head. She was on her knees knelt down with her face to the ground. As she slowly came up, I saw her turn into a RADIANT BRIDE standing before the THRONE ROOM OF GOD. She was READY to be presented to her BRIDEGROOM JESUS! I heard God speak these words, “THE BRIDAL CHAMBER IS READY”.
In praying into this vision and word and how it pertains to the times we are in and for the new year, I felt His heart and desire to see the church RISE UP and become the RADIANT and UNITED BRIDE. In Ephesians 4, Apostle Paul provides a clear definition of what this looks like.
God is inviting His remnant into greater intimacy with Him and to come together in unity like never before. He’s been working behind the scenes building up His end time army. I see some being prepared and raised up as bridge builders and some being marked as pillars of righteousness and some as standard bearers. He is calling them ALL to set the foundation for HIS church. He has given the marching orders to His great warriors and fivefold leaders. We must come together in unity, humility and boldness for such a time as this as a force to be reckoned with to reconcile the world to God.
“Built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.” - Ephesians 2:20-22 NKJV
As I continued to press in, Holy Spirit led me to a word I released in 2019 of a dream where I saw what appeared to be handmade invitations for His wedding feast. I specifically saw two invitations with one being for those that are already in a relationship with Christ, and the other was for those that didn’t yet know Him. In Matthew 22, Jesus shares the parable of the wedding feast which is like a king who arranged a marriage and sent his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding but they were not willing to come and therefore, not worthy. He then commanded his servants to go to the highways and as many as they could find, invite to the wedding. Jesus relates this parable to the Kingdom of heaven.
“Go through, Go through the gates. Prepare the way for the people; Build up, Build up the highway! Take out the stones, Lift up a banner for the peoples!” - Isaiah 62:10 NKJV
As we receive this invitation and call to the greater depths of the mysteries of HIM and HIS KINGDOM, our light and His glory around us will speak to and bring in the harvest. He will move through us in great signs and wonders that will break all deception and doubt in the lost and those with one foot still in the world that JESUS is without a doubt the only WAY. (John 14:6).
And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely. - Revelations 16:22 NKJV
In praying into this all, I was led to research what a BRIDAL CHAMBER was for further understanding and how it applies to the era we are in and the new year. I found that the bride chamber is the room in which the marriage ceremonies were held. It is also another word for the Holy of Holies. According to Merriam-Webster dictionary, it is the room containing the marriage bed. A place where two become one.
“Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” - Revelations 19:7 NKJV
I sense that as we continue to navigate through these dark and difficult times, God is making a way for HIS BRIDE to become a beacon of bright LIGHT that will draw the lost to Christ.
In the Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance the Hebrew word READY is “Athod”(6257) which means “to make fit, be ready to become; to prepare”. The word READY is used in 111 verses in the Bible. Specifically, in Matthew 24:44, Jesus says “Therefore you also be READY, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”
The word PREPARE is used 159 times in the Bible. One of these scriptures is 1 Peter 1:13. In reading the various translations, I find the one below from the Message Bible most fitting as it says, “So roll up your sleeves, get your head in the game, be totally ready to receive the gift that’s coming when Jesus arrives. Don’t lazily slip back into those old grooves of evil, doing just what you feel like doing. You didn’t know any better then; you do now. As obedient children, let yourselves be pulled into a way of life shaped by God’s life, a life energetic and blazing with holiness. God said, “I am holy; you be holy.”
The vision began with a key part of preparation and being ready, which is through fervent and continuous PRAYER. Over the last two years, the church has heeded the call to great intercession and we have seen justice prevail in some areas and there is much more to come in 2022 and beyond. There is still much to be done as the church has been under a great attack attempting to divide His people. As we continue to come together and stand for righteousness and pursue our King and He pursues us, we will build HIS church and not a man-made religious organization.
“And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” - Matthew 6:18 NKJV
Another key Holy Spirit is revealing here is FASTING. In pressing in further, I was brought to this verse in Matthew 9:15 KJV, where Jesus says to the disciples of John about why they are not fasting, “Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.” We can glean from this verse that fasting is a way to consecrate ourselves, to be set apart and become more Christ-like. Quite similar to the definition of the Hebrew word for ready above, which is “to be ready to BECOME”.
In the following scriptures (Matthew 9:16-17) Jesus goes into the parable of not putting new wine into an old wine skin, but putting the new wine in the new wineskin so they are both preserved. He is inviting us to BECOME his RADIANT BRIDE and to be preserved for the day of His great and final return for HIS BRIDE!
“And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.” - Matthew 25:10 NKJV
As His people accept the invitation to enter the bridal chamber of greater depths and intimacy with our Lord in 2022, we will see His radiant bride rise up and make her appearance to the world as a beacon of light for all to see. This is a year of His greater glory. There will be such an increase in Jesus Christ encounters, heavenly access, insight and downloads, witty inventions and divine strategies. It will be so great that we will not be able to keep up (Amos 9:11-15). Angels have been released specifically to assist us with this and for the purposes of preparing and making His bride ready!
