This is a Time of The Swift Shift

Over the past couple of weeks in my time of prayer, I’ve been picking up on a theme of what Father God is doing in us as we are transitioning into the new Hebrew year. I feel that many have been in a process of great change.

I heard Holy Spirit say the word “OVERHAUL”. In praying into this word and what exactly Holy Spirit is doing, I was lead to look up the meaning of this word. The definition of this word means to, “examine thoroughly, repair, renovate, remake, revise, or renew thoroughly”.  This reminds me of the prayer many of us pray that the Lord would create in us a clean heart and renew a steadfast spirit within us.

In the Word of God, we are encouraged to continuously renew our minds, to rely not on our own understanding and to die to self daily. We have been in a purging process. A time of letting go of the old and making room for the new. A time where He is rebuilding our foundations to withstand the storms of these times. In 2 Corinthians 4:16, we are encouraged not to lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

I feel this word is referring to us personally and what the Holy Spirit is doing within. He’s been taking us on a deep dive within and will continue to do so to complete the work He started. In this process, He is preparing His mighty warriors to fight and teach those who do not know how to fight for themselves. We are in a time greater than ever before, to stand in the gap and war for those who are not able. “I am pouring out My glory afresh on You and renewing your bow and as you release your arrows towards the enemy, the giants will fall”, says the Lord.

I heard Holy Spirit say the words “SWIFT SHIFT”. This really wrecked me as I have received revelation from the Lord of an angel named SWIFT recently released to partner with me. Holy Spirit has been encouraging me and showing many many signs of this angel’s presence and to continue to release this angel in my prayer and intercession. It’s as if every time I am praying boldly, God reminds me to declare that it would be done swiftly and to release His angels. God has released an army of angels that are armed and ready to partner with us in this spiritual war we are in.

Just the other day, I was shopping for a new pair of running shoes with a gift card I received. The shoes I picked out were called “Swift 2”. Of course, I had to buy them as a prophetic marker and confirmation that He has equipped us to run the race He has set before us. In Isaiah 40:31, the Lord encourages us that He shall renew our strength, that we shall run and not be weary.

I feel so much power on this word as it is filled with so much action. Both the words swift and shift are words of movement and change, but together I sense it is a force that packs a punch of knocking out the enemy opposition and advancing the Kingdom all at the same time. This also ties in to the word overhaul, as bringing us into a 2.0 version of ourselves as His end time army. The Lord encourages us in Galatians 6:9 to not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

To provide a little more context here, according to Merriam Webster dictionary, the word swift means moving or capable of moving with great speed, a swift runner, occurring suddenly or within a very short time, a swift transition, quick to respond, ready.

The definition of the word shift is to exchange for or replace by another, change, to change the place, position, or direction of, to move, to change gears, to assume responsibility, to change one's clothes.

I prophesy in the name of Jesus that as you read this word, you will be activated and released into your season of the swift shift. The giants you have been warring against will fall swiftly. You will take your seat in heavenly places with Christ and as you declare His word, the prophetic revelation received, and stand in the gap for the lost and downtrodden, You will be victorious. The Father will honor your prayers and release a mighty rushing wind that will shift everything that is out of order back into His original design and plan. This is your time to reap the blessings of God.

I declare and decree Isaiah 61 over you. That you will put off all the heaviness and put on the garment of praise and celebrate this time of the swift shift.
