The Storm is Over

In my time of prayer and reading His word this week, I was brought to Isaiah 42, where we learn more about the character of God. He speaks of how He made the heaven and the earth, how He gives breath to the people in it and will not tolerate idol worship.

I am the Lord, that is My name; And My glory I will not give to another, Nor My praise to carved images. - Isaiah 42:8 NKJV

We live in a time of mass consumerism, the pursuit of worldly things, giving our time and attention to things that do not bring life. For many of us, our idols are not carved images but are our flesh, our mindsets, our ministries, our children, our jobs and the list goes on and on. In this time of Passover, I encourage you to lay it all down at His feet. Let go of everything that is not of Him and His ways, so that He May be your focus and motivation. We need the grace of God more than ever before to fulfill the plans He has for us and to do His will. He lives in us and we live in Him. Just as He said in the scripture, He will not share His glory or His praises to carved images.

I feel many of us have been feeling weary as we move through this long and arduous time of transition. At times like this, I find it a struggle to let it go and trust Him for the new. The long and difficult battles, challenges and storms have worn many of us out. He is speaking to this area for us to have faith and trust Him and not ourselves or idols. It’s Him who brings the breakthrough and the blessings and we are nothing without Him.

I am here today to prophesy the storms of your life are over and that the “Son” is rising in and over you. Your new season is here and it’s time to celebrate the joy that comes in the morning and gives you strength. He’s got this and has you covered.

Release your praises, adoration and worship to Him. He is working and doing a new thing in you. It’s time to leave the things of last season behind and allow the new growth to spring forth in Jesus’ name.
