The Tug-of-War is Coming to an End
In my time with the Lord I sensed what felt like a pushing, a pulling and a tugging all going on at same time. It felt like some were wrestling with God and some were wrestling from a deep place within themselves (strongholds). I felt God’s heart for His people and His response, which is glorious. If you are at the end of your rope, it’s time to let Jesus do the heavy lifting and be your HOPE.
Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer. - Romans 12:12 NKJV
There have been some great challenges and roadblocks that have seemed to come out of nowhere. Many have been blindsided by issues with family, finances, ministry, and even in relationships becoming unhealthy and toxic. The forward progress and momentum many have been making has come to a halt.
In pressing in for God’s heart on this matter, I heard him say, “The TUG-OF-WAR is coming to an END”. I could see so clearly the remnant fighting with everything they had to HOLD ON. I heard in my spirit the term HOLD THE LINE. According to dictionary.com, this term means, “to not yield to the pressure of a difficult situation”. In further reading, I found the term originated in the mid-1900s and alludes to former military tactics, in which a line of troops was supposed to prevent an enemy breakthrough.
To take this a bit further, according to Merriam-Webster dictionary, the definition of tug-of-war is, “a struggle for supremacy or control usually involving two antagonists; a contest in which two teams pull against each other at opposite ends of a rope with the object of pulling the middle of the rope over a mark on the ground.”
I am not at all surprised that the enemy is at his usual antics and trying everything to trip us up, hinder, block or stop us from making progress in advancing God’s Kingdom. This is good news as we know the enemy fights us the hardest when we are closest to breaking through.
For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come,
It will not tarry. - Habakkuk 2:3 NKJV
God is giving us context for the many who have received powerful visions, revelation and prophetic words for this new era. Many are at a point of having to war with everything they have over these prophetic words and visions. I sense an agonizing pain for the many who are in this place. Holy Spirit lead me to pray this prayer: Lord help us to not resist but to lay it all down, to surrender, to yield to Your power to break us through, and to pull down the strongholds that have been formed against us, in Jesus’ name.
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. - 2 Corinthians 10:4-6 NKJV
God has called you as His warriors chosen for such a time as this. He has and will provide everything needed for the battles you face. I received this word of wisdom in my spirit for someone, “WE MUST WIN THE WAR WITHIN, BEFORE WE CAN WIN THE WARS AROUND US”. I then received a vision of His people in an actual tug-of-war and saw JESUS appear on the scene and grabbed a hold of the rope and joined us for the INEVITABLE WIN!
God sent me to prophesy today that the resistance is broken and the tides have turned in your favor. What was once difficult and agonizing will be effortless. Reinforcements are being released on our behalf. With their help, we will secure the wins, hold the ground, and retrieve the spoils and advance His Kingdom. The floodgates of Heaven have opened and miracles, double portion blessings, long awaited breakthroughs, divine turnarounds, are all being released and the time is now.
“Bask in My Glory, for nothing is impossible for Me. Believe it, receive it, and I will manifest it right before your eyes. Be ready to be awestruck and amazed by My goodness”, says the Lord.
Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident. One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple. - Psalm 27:3-4 NKJV
