Entering your Promised Land

A word for California

I heard in my spirit, "The eagle has landed"! I asked the Lord what He meant by this and He reminded me of two consecutive prophetic dreams I had over the last six months regarding inheritance and land. I found that this phrase was originally used by Neil Armstrong when the first man-made craft (the "Eagle") landed on the moon. This expression is now used to indicate the completion of a "mission objective". I feel strongly in my spirit that God is talking about California and His greater glory!

RECEIVING YOUR INHERITANCE

In the first dream I received six hundred gold shekels - as an inheritance from God. This dream brought great encouragement, as I was coming out of a wilderness season, crying out to the Lord and standing on His Word. The definition of "shekel" according to Merriam-Webster's dictionary, is any of various ancient units of weight, or a unit of value based on a shekel weight of gold or silver.

As I prayed into this, I received greater revelation as to the significance of the six hundred gold shekels through His word in 1 Chronicles 21:22-30, wherein David paid six hundred shekels for a place to build an altar to the Lord on it.

Later in 1 Chronicles 22, David prepares to build the Temple and then in verses 6-9, he calls to his son Solomon and charged him to build a house for the Lord God of Israel.

I feel strongly that this represents what is happening in San Diego with David’s Tent and a sacrifice of 72 hours of straight worship to our Lord. The anticipation and excitement is so great in the body of Christ and how much has went into making San Diego the landing place for His greater glory!

RECEIVING YOUR PROMISED LAND

In the next dream, I bought a piece of land with the six hundred shekels I previously received. As I went to go look at the land to determine the next steps to harvest the land, I found it already plowed and all I needed to do was wait on the harvest. In this dream, the gentleman that plowed the land, is from Redding in Northern California. We had recently had a conversation a few weeks prior, wherein he mentioned he is from a family of farmers and they lived the simple hard working life. I was very intrigued as to the significance that it was this particular gentleman that God would use to plow the land. I felt the Lord was highlighting the strong connection and collaboration between Northern and Southern California through this dream. The following morning while praying on my way to work, I felt the Spirit of the Lord so strong. I look over and see a truck next to me with the words “California Landcare”, which was confirmation that these dreams represented a promise for California!

While there is great responsibility required from the Body of Christ for what He has prepared for us here in California, there is also Joy and greater Glory. With obedience and the fear of the Lord required for this next move, He is equipping the saints and putting us in position and ready to partner with the new thing He is doing. God says in His word in Galatians 6:9 “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”

WORD FOR CALIFORNIA

Your time for turnaround is here! Arise and shine California! God is calling you up higher and crowning you with His glory for such a time as this. You have entered your Promised land, a land flowing with milk and honey. The Lord is releasing abundance and multiplication over you now. He is sending His angels to care for your Land and reinforcements to bring in the harvest. Many will come from across the nation as missionaries and will call California as their mission field. He has chosen you to host His presence and release it to the nations. God is breathing new life into you, a crown of beauty rests on you.

Isaiah 61:4-7 And they shall rebuild the old ruins, They shall raise up the former desolations, And they shall repair the ruined cities, The desolations of many generations 5 Strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, And the sons of the foreigner Shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers. 6 But you shall be named the priests of the Lord, They shall call you the servants of our God. You shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, And in their glory you shall boast. 7 Instead of your shame you shall have double honor, And instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double; Everlasting joy shall be theirs.

Exodus 3:6-8 Moreover He said, “I am the God of your father—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look upon God. 7 And the Lord said: “I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their [a]sorrows. 8 So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey.
